I flipped on the TV today as we were getting lunch together, after getting back from Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens (thanks Matt!) and some winter X-Games type competition was on. Skiers were free-styling in a half pipe and Kylen was watching it with me. He thought is was pretty cool that they were spinning, turning, and flipping so much.
“What do you think of this, buddy?”
“Good.” (Good is Kylen’s go-to response for the previous question.) “Let’s make him go faster!” Kylen then proceeded to open up the cabinet below the television, find my Xbox controller, and mash buttons while twirling the stick in hopes to affect the skier.
I did my best to explain this wasn’t a game, but I think he was enjoying his attempts too much.
