Kylen on David & Goliath - 2010-01-25 19:59
Casey put the little guy to bed tonight and they read the story of David & Goliath for his bedtime story. Kylen’s choice. After the story, as Casey was tucking him in, the following conversation ensued:
Kylen: Pray that I won’t be scared if someone comes in my room tonight.
Casey: What do you mean?
Kylen: Like if Goliath comes in my room…
Casey: You don’t need to worry about Goliath coming in your room, he lived a long time ago and he isn’t alive any more. Besides, Mom and Dad will protect you; you don’t have to worry about anyone coming in your room.
Kylen: When we’re dead, will we see Goliath?
Casey: I don’t think we’ll see Goliath.
Kylen: Will I see David, the little boy?
Casey: Yeah, you’ll probably see David.
Kylen smiling: I’ll give him a big hug.
