Kylen's Nightmares - 2010-01-11 23:30
So Kylen often wakes up screaming from nightmares (naps, in the middle of the night, whenever…) So just a few minutes ago, I heard him screaming for “Maaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhm!” Since I was still up, I headed in to see what the problem was, fully preparing myself to wake him up enough to get out of the nightmare, but not enough to actually wake him up.
When I opened the door, he was sitting up in bed.
“Mom?”
“No, it’s me.”
“Oh. My pajamas are falling off!” he says as he looks down at his one piece footsie p-jays. He looks up at me with a confused look that I take as: Seriously, these were just falling off a few seconds ago. Do you really think I would have called you in here if my pajamas weren’t falling off?!
“Oh.”
“You okay, buddy?”
“Yeah.”
