How You Know Your Wife is Pregnant - 2006-08-03 21:40
I love my wife dearly. I love the fact that she is pregnant (and a cute pregnant too.) But… yesterday I realized that she now has the mind of a pregnant woman. I was sitting at my computer, checking out some of my favorite sites (Couchfort, Think in Pencil, Natalie Jost) when my lovely wife walks into the room holding a green toothbrush.
“I just wanted to let you know that the green toothbrush is mine,” she said while holding it out towards me.
“Okay…” I replied while wondering to myself why she was claiming the toothbrush I had been using for the past half year.
She noticed the quizzical look on my face. “I had just noticed that you have been using it instead of your red one.”
“That’s funny, because I’ve been using the green one for about six months,” I responded. “As you may notice, the bristles are all bent and used. Don’t you remember that you just bought the red one for yourself a few weeks ago?”
A few seconds went by. “Oh. I thought the green one was mine.”
